As a wife and a mother of two daughters, Aurora Austriaco is a proven leader committed to serving the needs of the working families of the community. In her 17 years as a real estate litigation attorney and as a certified mediator, Aurora has devoted herself to serving the children, elderly, women and minority population of the state. In addition to providing thousands of hours of pro bono work, Aurora continues to serve on various community volunteer organizations. To name a few:

Aurora will introduce and support legislation that cracks down on mortgage fraud predators who prey on the elderly.
Aurora will develop incentives for businesses to provide healthcare for their employees. She will make sure that middle class families are able to have access to the quality healthcare they deserve. She will fight to have cervical and breast cancer screening covered.
Aurora understands the importance of preserving our environment and will support legislation to ensure green standards are in place and implemented for the next generation.
Aurora will introduce and support legislation that cracks down on the state's most dangerous sex offenders and meth dealers while working to increase funding for police and protection equipment.
